The purpose of the daily Kindness a Day e-mail is to give each reader practical suggestions on how to incorporate the values of chesed (kindness), tzedakah (charity), and tikkun olam (social action) into his or her daily life. Each e-mail contains a kindness that corresponds to a traditional Jewish text. Each date corresponds to the Hebrew date, and all Jewish holidays and observances are recognized.
