The program begins tonight and there are still spots available. If you want to attend, please express your interest in participating by e-mailing [email protected] and provide your grade, school, home address, cell phone number and briefly explain why you want to participate.
We are launching a new transformational intergenerational program that is open to 8th graders, high school freshman, sophomores and juniors. The goal is to really get to know the senior citizens while you actively grow, reflect and learn new skills that you can use throughout your life.
Parents, please take the time to discuss this unique new program with your child and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Program details, the who, what and where are in the flyer below. Here is the why:
When you commit to the program, you make a commitment to attend each session.
We know you are busy so we have made it easy and scheduled the sessions with the seniors and the training sessions back to back on the same evening. From 5:30-6:30 you will meet with the seniors and from 6:30 to 7:30 dinner will be served while having a teen only training session.
Sessions will meet at CareOne at 544 Teaneck Road. All attendees need to be vaccinated for COVID to participate.
To express your interest in participating, please e-mail [email protected] and provide your grade, school, home address, cell phone number and briefly explain why you want to participate.
If you have a conflict for one of the sessions but really want to participate we strongly encourage you to still sign up.
By participating in this program you agree that Areyvut can take picture and videos of you to submit for documentation to Better Together.
