Dr. Shira Hochberg lives in Teaneck, NJ with her husband and five children. Currently, she teaches psychology courses at Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women. Shira earned a Master’s Degree in School Psychology and a Ph.D in Educational Psychology from the Graduate Center of CUNY. She is passionate about creating a caring community and communities of kindness. Shira is active in her community and together with her family has volunteered for Bais Medrash of Bergenfield (BMOB), Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls, Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey and Yeshivat Noam. She had been an active member of the Areyvut board since 2016.
