The zealous go early to perform mitzvot.
Run to do a light mitzvah because it will lead you to do a weighty mitzvah.
Just as G-d taught gratuitously, so you must teach gratuitously.
In the next world one will be asked, ‘What was your occupation?’ If that person answers, ‘I gave clothing to those in need,’ they will say, ‘This is the gate of G-d. Those who gave clothing to the needy may enter.
Regard as trivial the good you did to others, and as enormous the little good others did to you.
Six days you shall labor, and on the seventh let us rejoice.
To serve with joy and a good heart…
I extol the concept of rejoicing for there is nothing better for man under the sun.
Rejoice, young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, follow the ways of your heart and the sight of your eyes.
And thou shalt rejoice…and thou shalt be altogether joyful.
