Rosh Hashana 2026

We are pleased to share Areyvut’s Rosh Hashana 5787: A Guide to Meaningful Conversations, Reflection and Personal Growth.

This year’s resource was created to help individuals, families, schools, synagogues, camps and communities enhance their Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur experiences and begin 5787 with greater purpose, reflection and meaning. Whether used around the holiday table, in a classroom, at a synagogue, in a youth group or for personal study, we hope these resources educate, engage, inspire and motivate meaningful conversations and action.

This year’s guide is especially significant because the first night of Rosh Hashana coincides with September 11, providing a unique opportunity to reflect on remembrance, resilience, gratitude, hope and renewal. In addition to conversation starters inspired by this rare convergence, the booklet includes questions for personal reflection, discussions on the central themes of Rosh Hashana, insights into teshuvah, practical growth exercises and resources designed to enrich your High Holiday experience.

To download the booklet, simply scroll to the bottom of this page and click the downward-facing arrow in the upper right.

We encourage you to use these conversation starters and reflection questions not only during Rosh Hashanah and the Yamim Noraim but throughout the year. Revisit them with family, friends, classmates, colleagues and community members. Allow them to spark thoughtful conversations, strengthen relationships and inspire meaningful acts of chesed, tzedakah and tikkun olam.

If you find these resources meaningful and would like to help us continue creating free educational materials and expanding our programming, we invite you to partner with Areyvut.
