Description of Organization:
Livnot U’Lehibanot is a holistic, physically and spiritually challenging Jewish experience that connects participants to their heritage and community in an open environment. Livnot U’Lehibanot is an unaffiliated, non-profit organization that has been running co-ed Israel experience programs since 1980. Based in the mystical city of Tzfat, we offer Jewish adults aged 21-30 with minimal Jewish background an amazing adventure that facilitates an exploration of Israel and Jewish heritage through awe-inspiring hikes, meaningful volunteering, workshops, local Israel music and Shabbat celebration, and more. The Livnot campus is unlike any hotel or hostel. All participants work as a team to create an atmosphere of participation and communal living.
Bnai Mitzvah Projects or Volunteer Opportunities offered by the organization for children ages 11 - 13:
Participants in our program serve the community through archaelogical digging in the Old City of Tsfat, repairing damaged homes in Norther Israel, talking with Ethiopian immigrants, and singing in a local nursing home.
