Description of Organization:

Kids’ Kloset provides clothing, footwear and other essentials such as diapers and wipes free of charge to local youth living in need. Clothing items are packed in “Bags of Love” one weeks worth of clothing personally packed with each child in mind. Appropriate, clean clothing is distributed free of stains and rips. It is our belief that each “Bag of Love” is not just clothing but makes a child feel good about themselves, increasing self-esteem, confidence and reducing stress at home. Kids’ Kloset is volunteer driven and relies on the community to volunteer and donate clothing, footwear and other items. Kids’ Kloset is a great Mitzvah project!

Bnai Mitzvah Projects or Volunteer Opportunities offered by the organization for children ages 11 - 13:

Volunteers can come on site and sort and help package clothing into “Bags of Love” for under-served youth. When youth do a Mitzvah project for Kids’ Kloset, you can do a drive at your school, Shul, team, community organization or parents place of business for (1) clothing (2) sneakers, (3) coats and winter accessories (depends on time of year), (4) new diapers and underwear.
Other things the Mitzvah youth can do is hold bake sales, dances, fundraisers and raise money for Kids’ Kloset or go shopping and bring Kids’ Kloset items that we are missing or need to pack.
