Description of Organization:
Billy’s BASEballs is dedicated to providing cheer to military troops at home and abroad. Have you ever signed a baseball? It’s a pretty cool thing. Volunteers sign baseballs with notes of encouragement and send them to the troops. Come be a part of this great experience.
Bnai Mitzvah Projects or Volunteer Opportunities offered by the organization for children ages 11 - 13:
First you have to schedule your own signing event. This works well with groups big and small.
Take a bucket of baseballs to a camp, a troop meeting, a temple youth group event, a school class or a sports team. Bring baseballs to a family event. A holiday dinner, a birthday party, a graduation celebration, a Bar Mitzvah or even a family reunion. Bring along Sharpies and write messages of good cheer or draw pictures on the baseballs. That’s how it goes! Once the baseballs are signed they get packed up and sent to the troops. Don’t worry – Billy’s BASEballs will help you send them once they are ready to go.
Minimum Age to Volunteer:
To run an event, 12. To participate - ages 2-100.
