Areyvut will be organizing, facilitating and implementing a Chesed Day on Yom HaAtzmaut at Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey. The program will engage the entire school -that’s more than 1000 students!- in hands on chesed to benefit agencies in Israel and through an interactive educational program the students will give tzedakah and support hunger agencies in Israel. Through this unique and powerful program the YNJ students will strengthen their connection to Israel and its people and partner with 10 Israel based agencies. The participating organizations include Beit Issie Shapiro, Birthday Angels, Carmei Ha’ir, Hazon Yeshaya, Leket Israel, Lev LaLev, Meir Panim, Migdal Ohr, Schneider Children’s Medical Center, Standing Together and Yad Eliezer.
