The Nine Days call upon us to strengthen our communities through acts of kindness, gratitude and service. This volunteer experience provides a unique opportunity to express our appreciation to the dedicated volunteers who answer emergency calls at every hour of the day and night, helping save lives and care for our neighbors when they need it most.
Join Areyvut at the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps (TVAC) for a special family volunteer experience as we wash the ambulances that serve our commUNITY. While washing an ambulance may seem like a simple task, it is a meaningful way to recognize the commitment of TVAC’s volunteers and to demonstrate our gratitude for the essential work they perform every day.
This hands-on program offers children, teens, parents, grandparents and friends and neighbors the opportunity to volunteer together while learning about the importance of commUNITY service, teamwork and giving back. It is a wonderful way to transform appreciation into action and make the Nine Days a time of meaningful chesed.
Whether you are participating for the first time or returning for another Areyvut volunteer experience, we invite you to join us for an afternoon of service, gratitude and commUNITY.
