As a token of our sincere gratitude, thanks and appreciation to a beloved friend of Areyvut we are running a pre-Shavuot program with all four 3rd grade classes at Yavneh Academy. Each class will have dedicated time to create flowers that will be donated after to an area senior center. The program will teach the students how:
- To reuse materials meaningfully as all of the materials for this project were repurposed.
- Listening to instructions is important.
- Helping each other makes us feel good
- Chesed can not only be a lot of fun but it can powerfully impact someone else, even if they will not necessarily ever know or meet the people who it impacts.
- We can all use the time and interests we have to actively help others.
- Important it is for all of us to actively contribute to commUNITY.
