Areyvut is pleased to offer Mitzvah Clowning as an elective for students in the 8th and 9th graders at Community Synagogue of Rye. The participants will learn about bikkur cholim (visiting the sick), kavod habriyot (human dignity), learn what Mitzvah Clowning is all about, how to make balloon animals, apply clown make-up and put into action what they learn by visiting senior citizens and children. We are thrilled to partner with the Community Synagogue of Rye and are confident it will be a meaningful and exciting program for all those involved.

Areyvut will be facilitating this program on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm at the synagogue.

Program dates: March 3, 10 , 17, 24 and 31 and April 7

This course is part of the Westchester Jewish Teen Learning Initiative (WJTLI), coordinated by The Jewish Education Project with generous funding from UJA-Federation of New York and Neshamot.
