SAR Academy developed the Kehila Initiative for their 8th graders. Their students are partaking in community engagement opportunities where they are volunteering at various organizations throughout the year. As part of our program, they are bringing in guest speakers to address their students and the goal is to expose the students to non-profit leaders so that students are educated, engaged, motivated and inspired to action while also learning about community needs. Daniel Rothner, Areyvut’s Founder & Director will share share the reasons and needs behind why he created Areyvut back in September 2002. He will present how Areyvut helps others, opportunities you offer and what Areyvut has done since October 7th (see below). Daniel will distribute Areyvut’s 20 Year Impact Report, You Matter Cards and other materials to the students. He is excited to return to SAR and to work with their incredible students.
