Areyvut is pleased to once again offer H.O.P.E. (Helping Organizations Provide Essentials), a Jewish Teen Philanthropy program to 7th graders at Yeshivat Noam in Paramus, NJ.
Participants contribute $100 and work as a board to determine community needs, develop a mission and ultimately allocate those funds. They will impact each other, the community and learn and develop skills that encourage them to give thoughtfully throughout their lives.
Since 2007, Areyvut’s Jewish Teen Philanthropy programs have engaged more than 245 participants, allocated $49,700 to over 30 non-profits.
We are thrilled to once again partner with Yeshivat Noam on this exciting program and are confident it will be a meaningful and exciting program for all those involved.
Session 6: RFP Review & Determine Agencies for Site Visits
Students will have the opportunity to review the RFPs that were received from the organizations of interest. They will then determine collaboratively which organizations they would like to invite to meet with for their on-site visit at the school. No more than three organizations will be invited to attend the site visit.
