When

October 26, 2014
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Areyvut is pleased to offer A Teen Philanthropy Experience, a Jewish teen philanthropy program for teens through the Greenwich, CT JCC.

Philanthropy and tzedakah are core Jewish values. Participants will learn what philanthropy means and the difference between philanthropy and tzedakah. Participants will each contribute their own funds and work as a board to determine community needs, develop a mission and ultimately allocate those funds. They will impact each other, the community and learn and develop skills that encourage them to give thoughtfully throughout their lives.

Classes will meet:

October 26, 2014
December 14, 2014
January 25, 2015
