Areyvut is proud to be a part of the Westchester Jewish Teen Learning Initiative (WJTLI), a program of The Jewish Education Project, and is pleased to offer Ethical Issues as its course offering at Kol Ami for the second trimester for students in the 8th-10th grades.
Ethical Issues will explore important contemporary ethical issues such as:
• Social Media & Contemporary Issues of Privacy Do we need to know everything?
• Is it ever okay to lie?
• Competition: When is it healthy and when is it not?
And see what Judaism has to say about this burning issues and plan, develop and implement a group project that highlights these ethical issues. The goal of the project will be to further educate, motivate and inspire others to learn about these issues and to implement ethics and values into their lives.
Areyvut will be facilitating this program on Wednesday evenings from 7:45-8:30pm at Congregation Kol Ami in White Plains, NY.
Program dates: January 2, 9, 16 and 30 and February 6 and 13
