Areyvut Board member Dr. Bruce Lish will be presenting to parents of 6th grade students at North Shore Hebrew Academy on Creating Meaningful Mitzvah Projects & Memories to Last a Lifetime.

Becoming a Bnai Mitzvah is such a special time and it affords celebrants many ways to help and impact others.  Bruce will share his personal examples of his children’s Mitzvah Projects and how volunteering as a family has impacted his family and created memories to last a lifetime.  The goal of the presentation is for parents to realize the power their child’s Mitzvah Project has to impact their child, family, their community, the Jewish people and the world at large while simultaneously adding to their celebration.

Dr. Lish will present at the school as part of the Meet the Teacher program on September 26 at 8:30 pm.

For more information about this presentation, or to speak with an Areyvut representative about arranging a presentation in your school or community, please contact Daniel Rothner at (201) 244-6702 or daniel@areyvut.org.
