Thanks to a challenge grant and matching funds opportunity from an anonymous donor, your gift can go farther than ever.
The donor will match donations from any new or lapsed donor. So, ifyou have never given to Areyvut or have not given within the last year, the donor will match your gift dollar-for-dollar. In addition, for those who increase their gifts, the donor will double the amount of the increase.
From now through December 31st new and increased gifts will be matched 1:1 up to $25,000. First time donors to Areyvut will have their donations matched in their entirety at any level!
Donors who commit to a gift for three years will be matches 2:1 for the first year of their increased donation! This 2:1 match also applies to new donors who commit to give to Areyvut for three years!!!
Below are just a few examples of how Areyvut programs have impacted participants, families, community agencies and the broader community:
* We continue to work with celebrants and their families on infusing chesed into their Bnai Mitzvah celebrations.
* Our Mitzvah Clown Program continues to thrive and grow. One of our Mitzvah Clowns, Ari Hiller, was the youngest person included in The Forward’s section highlighting people age 21 and younger who are working to make a difference locally or globally. To date we have trained more than 180 Mitzvah Clowns, the majority of which are middle school and high school students. Through Mitzvah Clowning we visit with more than 1,000 senior citizens and children with special needs and partner with 20 difference agencies.
* Our social media is expanding greatly as well. Through our website, blog and Twitter we provide resources including profiles of inspiring teens, innovative agencies and ways to infuse holiday celebrations to more than 5,000 a month.
Please participate in this unique opportunity and include Areyvut in your year-end charitable giving. You can give online or if you prefer you can send in a check made payable to:
