The Nine Days invite us to reflect not only on what was lost, but on what we can build. One of the most meaningful ways to honor this time is by proactively bringing kindness, compassion and companionship to others.
Join Areyvut for a special Family Volunteer Experience at Family of Caring at Teaneck, where volunteers of all ages will spend time visiting with residents, sharing conversations, offering smiles and helping brighten someone’s day. A friendly visit can make a tremendous difference, reminding residents that they are valued, remembered and part of the commUNITY.
This is a wonderful opportunity for children, teens, parents and grandparents to perform chesed together while creating meaningful memories and learning that sometimes the greatest gift we can give another person is simply our time and presence.
Whether you are volunteering for the first time or have participated in similar programs before, we welcome you to join us for an evening of kindness, connection and commUNITY.
