Areyvut will be facilitating a two part Bnai Mitzvah Fair at SAR Academy in Riverdale, NY. The first part of the evening will be for the sixth grade girls and their parents to attend. Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet representatives from a variety of organizations and learn how the students can have a positive impact on the organization. The goal of the program is to help the students determine organizations that are meaningful to them and work with them in creating a meaningful and innovative project.
The second half of the program will be open to the broader community. Parents and students alike will be able to come to the school and have the opportunity to meet with organizational representatives to learn how they can have a positive impact on the their neighborhood, the Jewish community and the world at large.
Date: Tues., Oct. 5th
Time: 8:00 – 8:45pm (6th grade girls and their parents only)
8:45 – 9:30pm (open to all)
