Thanks to a recent grant from Targum Shlishi, Areyvut will be launching a Jewish teen philanthropy program with students at Yeshivat Noam School in Paramus, NJ.
Areyvut staff will work with the students to teach them about non-profits, philanthropy, grant making, the meaning of giving Jewishly and so much more. Students will be given the opportunity to learn about the needs in their community, issue requests for Proposals (RFP’s), go on site visits and allocate grants to community based agencies.
For more information about this program, or if you would like to start a similar program in your school, synagogue or community center, please contact us at (201) 244-6702 or [email protected].
