The AJC Westchester Annual Thanksgiving Diversity Breakfast is again going virtual this year and Areyvut is once again honored to be a Communal Partner!

This year’s event will celebrate the theme of “Forging Community in a Time of Crisis: We Are All in this Together.” Due to ongoing concerns with COVID-19 variants, this year’s breakfast will be held virtually.

Last year’s Thanksgiving Diversity Breakfast set a record for attendance and with your participation we hope you will join us this year to publicize the breakfast and make a new attendance record.

Our honorees this year are being recognized for their work in the community which embodies the theme of forging community by building bridges and working side by side to address societal challenges that can only be solved by recognizing our common interests and shared humanity.

• Dr. Mehnaz Afridi, Director, Holocaust, Genocide, and Interfaith Education Center, Manhattan College
• Hearts and Homes for Refugees; and
• OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates, Westchester and Hudson Valley Chapter

Connecticut Attorney General William Tong will provide keynote remarks on this year’s theme and then all attendees will move into facilitated breakout groups to discuss the core issues presented by our honorees and keynote speaker.
