The AJC Westchester Annual Thanksgiving Breakfast is going virtual and Areyvut is once again pleased to be a Communal Partner!
The event will celebrate our diverse roots and shared values with particular focus this year on the theme of “And Justice for All” to recognize and affirm the common value of equality and justice.
This year, they are honoring three individuals who have dedicated themselves to counter discrimination and to break down barriers and prejudices. This year’s honorees are:
Catalina Horak, Building One Community (B1C)
Rev. Erwin Lee Trollinger, Calvary Baptist Church
Sam Wallis, Yonkers Partners in Education
Richard S. Cohen, former co-chair of AJC’s Interreligious and Intergroup Relations Committee, will be honored with a special award for his commitment and extraordinary efforts to bring the Muslim and Jewish communities together.
Justice Rebecca Dallet of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, will deliver a keynote address on the topic of “And Justice for All.”
The event will feature moderated discussions conducted via breakout groups which will allow all participants opportunity to interact and network with other participants.
