Old Friends & New Beginnings

Areyvut is all about fresh starts and new beginnings.  Perhaps this is why no two programs are ever the same and why the staff’s creative juices are always flowing.  Much like we take on new programs and projects with an eye towards the new and innovative, so too with Rosh Hashanah just around the corner, we wish the same for you.

We are pleased to inform you about a number of programs that will be commencing with the start of the New Year.

Areyvut’s Mitzvah Clowning Programs in Bergen County and Westchester will be starting up again.  With new and eager groups of Mitzvah Clowns, we have no doubt that both of these programs will be successful and impact those living in their local communities.

With the start of the New Year also comes the start of the new academic year.  The Areyvut staff has been working diligently throughout the summer on new and innovative programs for Jewish day schools and Hebrew schools throughout the country.  As the start of the academic year approaches, we are looking forward to facilitating and implementing these programs in the coming weeks and months.

Finally, we continue to offer new and varied resources for families, educators and community leaders across the country.  In the past week alone we have worked with three different families in coordinating Bnai Mitzvah projects, each one special, innovative, unique and meaningful to the Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebrant.  We look forward to continuing our work with these families and beginning new projects with families who are just starting to think about chesed ideas for their upcoming celebration.

With your financial help and support, you can make 5773 a great year for Areyvut and start us off on the right foot.  With an eye towards the future, we wish you and your family a year of peace and happiness.

Shana Tova,

Daniel Rothner
