Areyvut’s “A Kindness a Day”

Do someone a favor without expecting anything in return.

“Be like servants who serve their master not for the sake of receiving reward.” (Pirkei Avot 1:3)

Now is the time to encourage someone in your family, school, community, etc. to apply to Areyvut’s Summer Internship Program!  Areyvut staff members are currently reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews for high school, college and graduate students interested in the internship program.  Areyvut’s Summer Internship Program is a full time internship, which will take place from June 23 – August 15.

Areyvut Interns are an integral part of the organization and can get involved in a variety of ways:

Make a Difference Day, Online Resource Center, Public Relations, Fundraising, Teen Chesed Programming and Much More

Spotlight: Make a Difference Day

April 4-6, 2008

Martin J. Gottlieb Day School – Jacksonville, FL

Under the guidance and leadership of Ms. Edith Horovitz, 2^nd and 6^th grade students took part in Project Clean Up.  The students created “no litter” signs, picked up trash and cleaned up the road in front of their school.  They hope their actions will inspire others to take steps towards improving the environment.
