April 2010

With Passover just days away, we at Areyvut would like to take this opportunity to remind you to bring meaning to your holiday.  We offer a wide array of resources for children, teens and adults to make their Passover more meaningful, and influential on the lives of others.
To that end, Areyvut is embarking on a new fundraising initiative.  Beginning the second night of Passover, Jews around the world will begin counting 49 days, until the holiday of Shavuot, when we celebrate Moshe receiving the Ten Commandments.  It is during this time that the Jewish people rededicate themselves to the Torah, and there is no better way to do that than by supporting Areyvut.

We are urging you – Don’t just count the days, let the days count.  During these 49 days we are looking to raise $49,000, an ambitious goal from a small organization.  Do you need a reason to donate to Areyvut?  We have 49 of them!  (We have more, but we were trying to keep with the theme.)

From creating and facilitating chesed and community service fairs for children, to “Make a Difference” Day to our Summer Internship Program for high school and college students, we hope that you will help us keep these programs going so that we may continue our engagement in the community.

We have set up a special donation page and we hope we can count on you for your support.  We wish you and your family a Chag Kasher V’Sameach, a Happy, Healthy and Joyous Passover and thank you for your consideration.
