Areyvut will present to the Matan Mother Daughter Bat Mitzvah learning program at the Young Israel of Staten Island. The presentation will highlight the process of selecting a Mitzvah Project, explore the various forms a Mitzvah Project can take and participants will start to think about their interests, hobbies and what issue they want their Mitzvah Project to address. Each participant will receive handouts to help guide them through the process of incorporating a Mitzvah Project into their celebration. Participants will leave this session with an understanding of how Mitzvah Projects can enhance their celebration while at the same time, making the world a better place.
