Don’t Give Up

Andrew Lock wrote a great article titled, “Don’t Give Up,” which talks about the failures of Walt Disney, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Charles Schulz, Fred Astaire, The Beatles, and Elton John.  Had these famous creative minds given up hope when they first failed, or later on, we would never have what to benefit from that only they could contribute.  “When a reporter asked [Edison] how it felt to fail 1,000 times, Edison said that he didn’t fail all those times, but that the light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.”  Our failure is all a matter of perspective and we must be willing to use it to progress ourselves and the work that we do in the best ways to achieve our full potential.
