Here is a thought-provoking article that should make us all think about how we thank others. Stephen G. Donshik discusses how, all too often, people are not given the credit that they deserve, or as he puts it, “A day in the sun.” He points out that especially in non-profit organizations, which often runs on volunteers, people are sometimes not given the proper recognition for their efforts. This truly is a shame and something that we all need to be aware of.
At Areyvut we acknowledge donors, program partners, staff, interns, Board members and volunteers in a variety of ways as we think that it is critically important to show them how much we appreciate their help, partnership and support.
