Anonymous Feedback: Good idea?

Posted on June 16, 2013

Roger Schwartz discusses the value of evaluating a company’s performance.  Most people conduct such evaluations with surveys that they say will remain “confidential.”  Schwartz writes several reasons for why this is not necessarily the best idea.  This shows a lack of trust among the members, and does not necessarily provide valid answers when you do not know who the answers are from and why they answered in the way that they did.  These, among other points, are discussed in this article.

At Areyvut, we take evaluation and assessment very seriously and provide a chance for program participants and partners to give feedback.  We always give them the chance to omit their names, but when they do so does not give us the ability to follow-up with them, but we can always make changes as necessary.
