This Huffington Post article, describes this generation (the millennials), as environmentally aware, connected with technology, and confident, yet also unhappy and aimless. The main reason is that these young people are being taught to volunteer and get good grades (among other things of importance) for their resumes and not for the inherent value in each of those things. By making community service a family event from a young age, perhaps we can raise this generation to see the meaning and beauty in helping others. At Areyvut programs, there are children of all ages and we welcome anyone willing to make a difference.
