The 17th annual Global Day of Unplugging is March 6-7, 2026 sundown to sundown wherever you are and is an important annual international, deliberate and thoughtful initiative where people are encouraged to proactively unplug and go 24 hours without their technology, cell phones, computers and to instead use that time to actively reflect, renew and recharge and spend quantity and quality time with family, friends and colleagues. For more than a decade, individuals, families, schools, religious institutions and businesses have used this as an opportunity to inspire healthy life/tech balance for themselves and their communities. Participation is free and open to anyone who wishes to elevate human connection over digital engagement.
Areyvut is again proud to participate and to publicize this effort and to partner with the organizers to meaningfully engage others and transform lives. For us, this is not simply adding an event to our calendar. Rather, it is modeling and living our values while encouraging others to reflect on their values and lives.
For more information visit https://www.unplugcollaborative.org/ where they have a myriad of resources, tools and please tell them that Areyvut sent you.
