27 months ago Micah Kaufman was hit by a car. Initially no one knew if he would even survive or if he would ever walk or talk again. Kaufman, both before and after his accident, is known for his chesed. Prior to the accident, he was a kidney donor through Renewal, a volunteer bookkeeper for Tomchei Shabbos, the treasurer at his synagogue Teaneck’s Congregation Beth Aaron, was active in the leadership of the Teaneck Baseball Organization (TBO) and served on various non-profit Boards. Micah will speak with the students at Fasman Yeshiva High School (FYHS) sharing his story and his chesed mindset.
