Elana Kaplan has worked for well over a decade as a Museum Educator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and at the Derfner Judaica Museum at the at Hebrew Home at Riverdale where she specializes in accessible programming. Since 2012 Elana has served as a Community Leader for the Bergen County contingent of Jewish Journeys and led various trips. For the last several years, Elana has taken the lead in facilitating our hands on projects at our programs that benefit local and Israel based agencies. Aside from working and volunteering, Elana enjoys exercising, reading, baking and spending time with family and friends. Elana lives in Teaneck, NJ with her husband and four children.
