Areyvut is excited to be build on its success of using hands on projects as a way to meaningfully engage students and to work with Schechter Manhattan very awesome 5th grade students. The students will create friendship bracelets to be donated to an area non-profit and use recycled materials to create dog toys for an area shelter (and of course those with dogs will be able to take one home so that they can personally see the impact of their handiwork) or perhaps since these students are incredibly talented, committed and passionate they will have adequate time do both. In addition to creating a project that will positively impact others, the participants will learn how to use their time and talents to practically help others.
