If you’re 70 and a half or older and have an IRA, we have some great news for you! You can make a tax-free rollover gift up to $100,000 from your IRA to Areyvut without triggering income tax!
Your IRA Charitable Rollover Gift may satisfy your entire Charitable Rollover Gift (RMD) and is excluded from taxable income!
The following guidelines apply for making an IRA Charitable Rollover Gift:
- The donor must be 70 and a half or older.
- The IRA transfer must go directly from your IRA to Areyvut.
- Married couples may each donate up to $100,000 from individual IRA accounts.
- Donors cannot receive any personal benefits from transfers of IRA assets, such as to establish a charitable gift annuity or charitable trust. The gift is not eligible for any additional charitable income tax-deduction.
If you qualify, please consider using your IRA Charitable Rollover to make a profound difference in facilitating chesed, tzedakah and tikkun olam and facilitating Areyvut’s important work, growth and success.
The process of making an IRA Charitable Rollover starts with your IRA provider. Contact your IRA provider for instructions, or Areyvut’s Founder & Director, Daniel Rothner at 201-244-6702 or
