H.O.P.E. is Back Again!

Posted on February 12, 2015

Areyvut is thrilled for the start tomorrow of the 6th year of the H.O.P.E. (Helping Organizations Provide Essentials) Jewish Teen Philanthropy Program at Yeshivat Noam! It is our goal that by the conclusion of the program, H.O.P.E. participants will have a better understanding of philanthropy, the role of non-profits and the importance of being actively involved in the community. Since Areyvut began its Teen Philanthropy Program 9 years ago, our 175 participants have allocated more than $40,000 in funding to 24 organizations. We are thrilled with our participants commitment to chesed, tzedakah, and tikkun olam.

The schedule for the 2015 H.O.P.E. program is as follows:

Session #1: Introduction to H.O.P.E. & Philanthropy
Session #2: Area of Focus & Mission Statement
Session #3: Review of Organizations
Session #4: Create & Send RFP
Session #5: RFP Review & Determine Agencies for Site Visits & Prepare for Site Visits
Session 6: On-site Site Visits
Session #7: Allocations Determination
