We like many of you recently heard that a tree collapsed on the dining hall at Camp Tawonga, a Jewish overnight camp near Yosemite. The reports as of now are that the children are all okay and that one person has died and that 20 others are injured. I am sure that in the minutes, hours and days to come we will get lots more information. For now we are thinking of the campers, staff and their families. I am not sure there is anything we can do to help at this time but nonetheless I suggest people take a break from their day to pray for them at this challenging time and/or do acts of chesed (kindness) in their merit.
