Smart Philanthropy

Andres Spokoiny wrote an article in The Jewish Week where he laments how many people donate to organizations, but unfortunately not in the best and most effective way.  He says that this is not only a waste of money, but even goes so far as to say that it is a “betrayal of our own legacy.”  As Jews, we have a strong tradition of taking care of our community and we must continue to uphold this tradition in the best way possible.  Look here for his ten tips to be a more effective philanthropist.
