Ethiopian Olim Trained in Jewelery Making When Organizations Band Together

I just read this article about an amazing initiative going on in Israel right now.  Yvel, a world-reknown Jewelery company started by Orna and her Buenos Aires born husband Isaac Levy, with the help of Yedid (a  non-profit organization which helps Israelis to become self-sufficient), as well as other partners, has begun a school for Ethiopian olim providing them with jewelry-making skills and providing them with income for their work.  Isaac knows how hard it is to make it in a new country as an immigrant and wants to do his part as much as he can to provide other struggling olim with a way to sustain themselves and their families.
I’m personally inspired by the initiative of Isaac and Orna Levy and their initiative to help others now that their own business has seen such success.  Giving back to others is a beautiful and necessary part of our lives and will definitely attribute to tikkun olam within each person’s universe and the world as a whole as well.  This article was also a beautiful reminder of what can be accomplished when organizations come together and work as a team.  This is the epitome of the saying that team stands for Together Everyone Achieves More!  May we all gain inspiration from this initiative and be able to team up with our friends and other nonprofits in order to create amazing social change.
