This article, “The Littlest Philanthropists,” shows that charity fundraising “by kids, for kids” is not only a trend, but a great way for children and the whole family to get involved in philanthropy! The article talks about lemonade stands and raising money through the sales to donate to charity. Lemonade stands are a great way to teach our children about business and profits but also about chesed, tzedakah, and tikkun olam. We here at Areyvut try and promote these three principles to everyone, but especially the youth we work with to instill in them a passion for helping others.
