The Case for National Jewish Philanthropy

Posted on March 15, 2012

Yossi Prager stresses supporting national organizations in order to better help our local communities, in his article titled, “The Case for National Jewish Philanthropy.”  His points are very interesting ones and we can all benefit from reading them.  One point in particular that I found made a lot of sense is his statement that, “it would be incredibly inefficient for each local community to independently develop training programs, and they don’t have to because national institutions…offer terrific programs for these purposes.”  We can all work together in our efforts to better our communities, and save money along the way!  This article is brimming with ideas just like this one, and is definitely worth taking a closer look at.
