Clothes Make the Mitzvah – Project Ezrah

Posted on August 15, 2011

In Friday’s Jewish Standard was an amazing article in the community section titled, “Clothes Make the Mitzvah: Boutique set to open for Project Ezrah’s Clients.”  This article by Abigail Klein Leichman highlights the amazing organization Project Ezrah.  Project Ezrah helps out with financial planning and assists people in finding employment.  The article is about a new boutique set up in Englewood by Project Ezrah specifically established for the Project Ezrah clients to take home donated suits and dresses.  Thanks to the Project Ezrah boutique, clients can now better their chances at employment on interviews and feel appropriately dressed for occasions such as Bat Mitzvahs with the proper clothing.  Project Ezrah is a phenomenal organization that works with the communities of Teaneck, Bergenfield, Englewood, New Milford, and Fair Lawn doing everything they can for everyone they can.  It is so exciting to read this news since this idea that we gave them a few years back has come to fruition!  This project is such a great one and we here at Areyvut are proud to hear of the amazing work going on in our communities and look forward to seeing more great things from Project Ezrah!
