I came across this article from TheNonProfitTimes. Areyvut lets donors earmark their support for particular programs and in general I think this proposal is good for the non-profit community. This approach can help agencies determine which projects make sense and fit within their mission and others that they should discontinue. Foundations and individuals funders need to understand that agencies need a basic infrastructure to support their mission. I believe this can be addressed by building in overhead into each program and think funders need to understand that without a proper framework everything will fall apart.
