I came across this article and think it has some good ideas, although donors may have a challenging time reading a hand written letter or note from me but phone calls or personalized e-mails is an approach we often take at Areyvut. What was the best response you have ever received from an agency? I am also curious if you think there is a minimum gift that requires a note, call or special touch in addition to a promptly written acknowledgement letter. In the interim, here are some other ideas on ways to acknowledge and thank donors that you find of interest.
