The New York Times had an article that highlights questions to consider when making charitable contributions. The article is important as we approach the ever popular end of the year giving (and I hope you will consider including Areyvut in your list) but is also a resource that educators can and should use in teaching about tzedakah and in Jewish teen philanthropy programs.
