DESCRIPTION:As we prepare to joyously celebrate the 70th anniversary of Isr
 ael\, we must remember that without the 23\,632 soldiers and security forc
 es who sacrificed their lives defending and protecting our land\, we would
  not be privileged to celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut. We are obligated to perpetu
 ate their memories.\n\nIn observance of Yom HaZikaron\, Areyvut will be pa
 rticipating in a virtual memorial program.  Olami\, in partnership with T
 he Afikim Foundation and Israel’s Ministry of the Diaspora\, has initiat
 ed Yizkereim - Honor Israel’s Fallen\, in order to meaning fully pay tri
 bute to each one of these fallen heroes. A culminating Memorial Event on Y
 om HaZikaron will unify Jews worldwide in paying tribute to Israel’s fal
 len.  Areyvut will be participating in Yizkereim by honoring 10 fallen he
 roes. We will learn about each of the fallen and perform a positive actio
 n (chesed\, service\, prayer\, learning\, or tzedaka) in the memory of tho
 se fallen heroes. We invite you to participate and help us to remember tho
 se who died and do an act of chesed in their memory.\n\nTo learn more abou
