DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID-19 and the Coronavirus pandemic all in person prog
 rams have been canceled or postponed until further notice. We have develop
 ed a wide array of resources available at http://bit.ly/2wU5CTS and are 
 now offering Daily Virtual Mitzvah Opportunities.\n\nEach day will feature
  a particular theme that offers ideas that can be done virtually as well a
 s suggestions that can be implemented in the future.\n\nAll of these progr
 ams are dedicated:\n\n 	In memory of those that have been lost to COVID-19
 .  We feel for each and every family and may they be comforted amongst th
 e mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.\n 	For a quick and complete recovery for
  those currently battling COVID-19.  We pray for you and your families.\n
  	In honor of the heroes and first reponders\, the medical staff\, deliver
 y workers and all those serving with distinction at this much challenging 
 time to keep us safe.  We thank you and acknowledge your courage\, braver
 y\, dedicate\, commitment and sacrifice and when this is over we will neve
 r forget your leadership and personal example.\n\nToday’s theme is: Volu
 nteering in Your Local Community \n\nThese are the things that have no me
 asure: Peah\, Bikkurim\, the appearance-sacrifice\, acts of kindness (Mish
 nah Pe’ah 1:1).\n\n Today:\n\n 	Contact the security team to offer to p
 rotect your synagogue.\n 	Volunteer at a local non-profit organization.\n 
 	Volunteer to use your time\, treasure and talents to lead a class and/or 
 run a program.\n 	Check up on those in need.\n 	Offer to shop for those in
  need.\n\nInto the future:\n\n 	Volunteer to visit and cheer up children i
 n a local hospital.\n 	Organize a yard sale and donate the proceeds to a l
 ocal charity.\n 	Volunteer to pack food packages for those in need at a lo
 cal food bank or pantry.\n 	There are tons of local non-profits in your co
 mmunity.  Contact one of them to offer your time and service.\n\nIf you h
