SUMMARY:Supplies for Success
DESCRIPTION:We are now in the 9 Days where we commemorate the destruction o
 f the Beit HaMikdash\, the Temple. The Gemara (Talmud) tells us that “Ju
 st as the Beit HaMikdash was destroyed through sinat chinam (baseless hatr
 ed)\, it will only be rebuilt through ahavat chinam (actively loving other
 s freely without judgement).”  It is Areyvut’s mission to actively e
 ncourage such acts of love- locally\, nationally and around the world.\n\n
 We are pleased to offer families a myriad of hands on volunteer opportunit
 ies this week including this one in conjunction with the Jewish Federation
  of Northern New Jersey (JFNNJ) where we will be assembling 96 backpacks f
 ull of school supplies for vulnerable students in Bergen\, Passaic &amp\; 
 Hudson Counties. This Supplies for Success pop up event will be held in th
 e YIOT Social Hall and is a fun and meaningful way to spend an hour.  Thi
 s is suitable for children of all ages and all participants younger than M
 iddle School need to be accompanied by a parent\, grandparent or guardian.
   So please plan to join us and bring your friends and use this as an opp
 ortunity to discuss the importance of actively giving back and the importa
 nce of communal involvement in your family.\n\nMay our working together ac
