DESCRIPTION:Special Youth Chesed Event\nThe YIOT Chesed Committee and Areyv
 ut invite children in 1st through 6th grade to join us for a meaningful an
 d hands-on morning of chesed.\nThis special youth event will take place on
  Presidents Day\, Monday\, February 16 from 10:00–11:00 AM in the Social
  Hall at Young Israel of Teaneck. Participants will rotate through engagin
 g stations designed to make a real difference in the lives of others.\nChi
 ldren will create:\n\n\n 	Watercolor postcards for chayalim\n 	Bookmarks f
 or literacy programs\n 	Baseballs with uplifting messages\n 	Dog toys for 
 their dogs and/or to be donated to an area shelter\n 	Kindness rocks for a
 n assisted living facility\n\nThrough these creative projects\, participan
 ts will learn that even small acts of kindness can have a powerful impact.
  This program provides a meaningful opportunity for children to actively p
 ractice chesed while proactively building commUNITY and understanding the 
 value of giving back.\nDonuts will be served and participants are encourag
 ed to dress for mess\, as the art activities may get a little colorful.\nP
 arents are welcome to drop off their children or stay if they prefer.\nJoi
